Safer Internet

On 7th February 2017 Leechpool Primary School celebrated Safer Internet day. The children took part in many activities within their classes exploring the importance of keeping safe online. E-Safety is highlighted regularly in computing lessons and through discussions.
Years 5 and 6 have a planned talk from PC Keeley about keeping safe on the internet on Thursday 15 June 2017.  This is part of our on-going PSHE programme.
Here are some quotes from the children discussing E-Safety.

"Don't meet people that you play with online. It's dangerous."

"I pledge to keep safe on the internet by reporting any worries to my parents."

"Safer internet day made me more aware of what the internet does and what I should not do on the internet."

"Don't talk to strangers."

"Don't give your password away."
These posters are displayed in all classrooms and around the school and are referred to regularly in lessons.
