Leechpool COVID19 Response and Updates

The school would like to thank all families and children for their continued support and hard work.  The last few months have been very difficult for everyone as we try to understand what is happening in the world and in our own community.
The responses to the situation have been very positive and supportive and as we move to the next stage, we thought it would be helpful to provide everyone with information of how the school is responding to the Government's request to start to re-open the school from 1 June 2020.
As we are entering into the unknown, we will be proceeding with caution.   The main focus of the school will be to retain the upmost safety of the children, staff and families who are asked to attend.   Over the last week we have sent out a survey to the families for completion and in the survey we asked the families to ask questions and share their views.   These have been shared on this page in the Question and Answer section below.    No one knows all the answers but the responses we have provided are from the information we currently have available to us.
No families will be made to send their children back to school and the school will only return children to school under the current guidance given.   All aspects of social distancing will need to be adhered to and the school with only open if we have the staff available to do so.
