Pupil Voice Committee

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Leechpool Pupil Voice Committee page which tells you about us and the work we do.

We help to improve our school by:

Deciding which charities we will support and raise money for.
Write our own School Evaluation Form and Development Plan.
Ensure that there is a strong pupil voice.

Pupil Voice representatives should be prepared to attend meetings, on Thursdays at 12.30 p.m. We listen to everyone’s ideas and we respect each other’s views.

As Pupil Voice one of our responsibilities is to plan different events. During the year we have planned and carried out the following:

Organised and collected food donations for the Horsham Food Bank as part of our Harvest Celebrations.
Run stalls at the Christmas, May Fayre and Music Gala.
Sold poppies on behalf of the British Legion.

We hope that we can really make a difference by supporting the following charities this year.

A good Pupil Voice representative should be...

Our Pupil Voice is made up of 32 Representatives, 2 representatives per class and 4 per class in Year 6.
All children named below have been elected by their class peers. This elected position illustrates how these individuals are respected by their class members. A big congratulations to all elected representatives.
The Pupil Voice Representatives for Kangaroo and Koala will be elected in the Spring Term 2022.

Hedgehog	Neve Hello, I am Neve, and I am a Pupil Voice representative for Hedgehog class. I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee because I am respectful and kind. I want to make the school a better place. Santi Hi, I am Santi. I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee because I want to make the school an even better place.
Squirrel	Jack Hello I am Jack, I am in Squirrel class. I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee because I want to help other people. Andrew Hello - my name is Andrew and I am a representative for Squirrel Class. I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee because I am kind and respectful.
Penguin	Isla Hello my name is Isla and I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee to represent Penguins. I want to make the school a better place. I am generous, kind, and funny. Maisie Hello my name is Maisie. I wanted to be a Pupil Voice representative because I am kind, respectful and caring. I also want to make the school a better place.
Seal	Hallie Hello, my name is Hallie and I wanted to be a Pupil Voice Representative because I follow the 6 R’s and the Leechpool Golden Rules. Katie Hello, my name is Katie and I’m a pupil voice representative for Seal class. I wanted to be a pupil voice representative because I am kind, respectful and responsible. I want to help to make the school a better place.
Llama	Jessica Hello, I'm Jessica and I'm a representative for Llama class. I put myself forward for pupil voice and got voted because I am very confident, and I always share all my ideas. I also put myself forward because I'm kind, funny and I will always volunteer to help other people. I can’t wait to help at many school events. Joel Hi my name is Joel and I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee because I would love to help the school and make it a better place for everyone. I would love to share people’s ideas and make their ideas happen and make good changes to the school.
Jaguar	Leonie Hello, I’m Leonie. I put myself forward as a pupil voice representative because I’m a good listener and want to represent Jaguar class. I am funny, kind, helpful and I will help with school fayres. I will also listen to others’ ideas. Ella Hello I’m Ella and I wanted to be a Pupil Voice representative because I love helping people and I want to make school a better place. Joe Hello I am Joe. I wanted to be a Pupil Voice representative so that I can help my friends.
Bear	Amanda Hello, I am Amanda and I am a representative of Bear class. I put myself forward to be a pupil voice representative because I consider myself resilient and I don’t mind missing play time or lunch time. I would also respect other people's ideas and make their ideas better. I got voted because I am really confident, and I would like the school to be a good and better place. Lillie Hi! I’m Lillie. I am 9 years old and I put myself forward because I am respectful, responsible and a risk taker. The other reason I put myself forward for it was because I listen and make your ideas better. I don’t mind giving my own time to help the school.
Eagle	Federica Hi my name is Federica and I am eight years old. I wanted to be a Pupil Voice representative because I want to help to make the school a better place. Nina My name is Nina and I wanted to be on the Pupil Voice Committee because I will listen to all ideas and I am happy to give up my time to help other people.
Lion	Sienna My name is Sienna and I wanted to join Pupil Voice because I want to help people around school. I also wanted to have the opportunity to have more responsibility at keeping our school a happy place. I am kind, caring and helpful. Phoebe Hello, my name is Phoebe and I put myself forward for Pupil Voice. I feel that me being a Pupil Voice representative is right for me because I’m helpful, kind and resilient. I don’t mind spending my own time to help with important roles around the school.
Giraffe	Heidi My name is Heidi and I am in Giraffe class. I wanted to be a member of the Pupil Voice because I want to help people and take more responsibility around our school. I am kind, helpful and a good listener. I am looking forward to helping at lots of different events. Cara Hi I’m Cara. I wanted to be a Pupil Voice representative because I’m very confident, kind, funny and exciting. I would like to help out at more school events.
Tiger	Amelia Hello, I’m Amelia. I put myself forward to be a Pupil Voice representative because I want to represent the school and go to every meeting. I will share all my ideas with others and be resilient. Kalea Hello! I’m Kalea, one of the four representatives for Tiger class. I wanted to be a pupil voice representative because I am confident and a good listener. I love helping out and don’t mind giving up my own time to do it. Christopher Hi my name is Chip and I am the Pupil Voice representative in Tigers. I wanted to be your rep because it is my last year of school and I haven’t had a job. I want to show how responsible I am. Scarlett Hello, I’m Scarlett and I am one of the representatives for Tiger Class. I put myself forward because I am a good listener and I am good at helping others out.
Panda	Erin Hi, my name is Erin and I am one of the Pupil Voice representatives for Pandas. I wanted to be on Pupil Voice because I am kind and caring, responsible and follow all the 6R’s. I want everybody’s voice to be heard. I want to make the school a better place for everyone. Amber Hi, my name is Amber and I am one of the Pupil Voice representatives for Panda class. I wanted to be on Pupil Voice because I am responsible, kind and caring. I really want to let everyone's voices get heard. I think I will be a great Pupil Voice rep. Millie Hi, I’m Millie-Rose, Pupil Voice representative for Panda Class. I put myself forward because I am helpful and kind. I would love to make the school better and don’t mind giving up my time to do it. Caleb Hi, I’m Caleb and I’m from Panda Class. I put myself forward because I am happy to use my own time to help the school. I was voted because I listen and I can make everyone’s ideas better.
