LEAF is actively involved in the life of the school.  All staff, parents and carers at the school are always welcome to attend meetings and get involved in social events and fund-raising activities.

The object of LEAF is to advance the education of the pupils at the school in the following ways:

  • By developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
  • By engaging in events and providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils
  • Helping ensure that the children have fun and enjoy their time at Leechpool Primary School through social events and other PTA activities.
LEAF is a registered charity (registration number 1060721).  The LEAF Committee is elected by members annually and is responsible for decisions relating to the Association and its funds.

LEAF’s Constitution, which is approved by the Charities Commission, is available to read here

Every parent and carer of a child at Leechpool Primary School is automatically a member of LEAF.

Getting Involved

As a charity and voluntary association, LEAF can only achieve as much as the commitment of its membership allows.  We invite all parents, carers and staff to consider getting involved and helping in whatever way they can to help us support Leechpool Primary School.

Matched Funding – Can you help raise money for the school through matched funding at your workplace?

Does your employer offer Match Funding?  Many companies throughout the UK offer employees the chance to boost their fundraising efforts by ‘matching’ funds raised by charitable organisations.   For example, by helping out on a stall at a fundraising event that raises £200, you could ask your employer to ‘match’ this by contributing another ‘£200’ – thus increasing the LEAF funds significantly.

If you require any further information or are able to help, please let us know.

Thank you.
