LEAF and the PTFA

Supporting Leechpool Together

LEAF (Leechpool Events and Fundraising) is the charitable association (Charity Number 1060721) that supports Leechpool Primary School through fundraising, community events and projects that enhance children's educational experiences.

The charity exists to:

• Develop strong relationships between families, staff and the wider community.
• Raise funds to provide facilities, equipment and opportunities that support and enhance children's education.
• Support projects and initiatives that benefit pupils across the school.

How LEAF and the PTFA Work Together

LEAF operates through the school's Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA).

Under the LEAF Constitution, the PTFA Committee acts as the charity's trustees and is responsible for managing fundraising activities, events, finances and ensuring funds are used in line with the charity's objectives.

This means that whenever you support a PTFA event, volunteer your time or make a donation, you are helping LEAF raise funds to benefit the children of Leechpool Primary School.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The first Annual General Meeting under the new constitution will take place on:

Friday 4th September 2026
7:00pm
Leechpool Primary School

All parents, carers, staff and friends of the school are welcome to attend.

The AGM is an opportunity to:

• Hear about the work of LEAF and the PTFA.
• Review fundraising achievements and finances.
• Discuss future projects and priorities.
• Elect committee members where appropriate.
• Share ideas and help shape future events.

Get Involved

Everyone connected to Leechpool is welcome to become involved. Whether you can volunteer regularly, help at a single event or simply attend fundraising activities, your support helps create additional opportunities for our children.

There is no minimum commitment and every contribution is valued.
