eSafety Advice

eSafety is an important part of keeping children safe at Leechpool Primary School . We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. Any eSafety incidents are recorded and managed.  eSafety is taught to all pupils as part of our computing and PSHE curriculum and we aim to explain and demonstrate how to stay safe and behave appropriately online.

We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents to ensure the eSafety message is consistent. It is important that parents speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.

Mr Wagjiani , a governor of the school who has experience in combating cyber crime, has previously led a workshop for parents. This was well received and future events will be held.
