Implementation

A progressive school curriculum will focus on seven core themes taught in all year groups.

The manner of teaching of PSHE is responsive to the needs of the cohort the teacher will adjust accordingly throughout the year.

Children will discuss and debate topics listening and considering the thoughts of others. There will be learning evidenced in working class journals.

The Scheme of work also includes opportunities to link British Values, Spiritual, 6RS and key learning skills.

Whole school, Key Stage and class assemblies makes are topical and a link to PSHE, British Values and the 6Rs.


Impact

Children will demonstrate and apply the British Values of Democracy, Tolerance, Mutual respect, Rule of law and Liberty.

Children will demonstrate a healthy attitude towards school. Within the school there is a culture of acceptance and positivity.

Attendance will be in-line with national and behaviour will be good.

Children will achieve age related expectations across the wider curriculum.

Children will leave school with a strong sense of self and have a be equipped to continue with their education, also to make broader decisions about their own lives.

With the agency and some understanding about to whom and how to seek guidance.
